Universidad Andrés Bello develops a set of activities that establish sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with the university community and the environment in which it works, promoting culture, knowledge dissemination, research, and social responsibility.
Community outreach is a missional function for the University since it allows it to materialize its commitment to contribute to the country’s development and helps to enrich and provide feedback to teaching and research.
The Environmental and Sustainability Department is responsible for channeling these actions in a coherent, systematic, and constant manner, ensuring compliance with institutional policy and guaranteeing the integration and synergy between the different activities developed.
Each year, the university hosts hundreds of free academic and cultural activities for the entire university and surrounding community at its Santiago, Viña del Mar, and Concepción campuses.
